Our Level 1 Paint Correction Process

  • 1. Measure Paint Levels

    A professional paint thickness gauge is used to measure the paint on the car. A safe paint thickness is ensured before the paint polishing process is started.

  • 2. Rinse And Wash Vehicle

    Paint decontaminant cleaner is used to remove iron fallout and brake dust embedded in the paint. Pressure wash dirt and grime off the vehicle. Wheels and tires are cleaned. Hand wash exterior of the vehicle with soft microfiber mitt.

  • 3. Clay Bar Applied

    Clay bar is used to remove more contaminants in the paint. It will also leave the paint feeling very smooth.

  • 4. Mask Off Trim And Emblems

    Paint safe masking tape is used on emblems, trim, and grilles of the vehicle. This prevents staining from polishing liquids that are used during the paint correction process.

  • 5. Polishing Stage

    Professional machine polisher is used to remove defects in the paint (scratches/ swirl marks, oxidation) and restore gloss/ clarity. Defect removal for this service is about 50%-60%.

  • 6. Excess Polish Is Removed

    Polishing residue is wiped off and cleaned from the exterior of the vehicle.

  • 7. Paint Sealant Applied

    A sealant is applied to protect the paint from external contaminants while also adding gloss.
