Our Ceramic Coating Process

Wash and Decontaminate
Before a ceramic coating can be applied, the exterior of the car is fully washed and decontaminated. External contaminants such as bird droppings, tar, salt, and tree sap are all removed.

Clay Bar Treatment
A clay bar is applied to the exterior surfaces. This process further cleanses the car’s paint. It will also leave the paint smooth and ready for a ceramic coating.

Machine Polish Paint If Necessary
If the car’s paint is looking dull, or has scratches and swirl marks a buff / polish is recommended to get the paint looking its best before it’s sealed with a ceramic coating. To learn more about our paint polishing process, see our Level 1 Paint Correction section.
If your car’s paint is in good condition, or if you just bought your car brand new from a dealership a buff / polish may not be needed.

Ceramic Coating Application
A ceramic coating is applied to all the exterior painted surfaces of the car. Including the headlights and tails lights. A 12 hour indoor cure time is necessary for the ceramic coating to properly bond to the car’s paint.
Upgrade to have all the surfaces of your car protected, and ceramic coated. We can apply a ceramic coating to the wheels, windshield, windows, and plastic trim.
